Inner gaps may stay filled

Check holes inside letters such as O, A and e, and spaces inside rings. If the old background remains, zoom in and use a small Erase brush without touching the outline.

Raster in, raster out

The downloaded file is a raster PNG with transparency. It is suitable for placing over another background, but it does not turn the logo into SVG or editable vector paths.

Start large

Choose the largest, sharpest version you have within the file limits. Check small text and thin strokes at 100% zoom and use Restore where needed; the tool does not upscale the logo.

Can I get an SVG?

No. The tool works on images (pixels) and exports PNG. Vectorizing a logo is a different job.

Why is the inside of my logo still filled?

The AI looks for a main subject and sometimes treats enclosed areas as part of it. Use Erase on those areas.

Will thin lines or small text survive?

Usually, if the image is sharp. Very thin strokes can fade — check at 100% zoom and use Restore if needed.

Which files can I use, and how big?

JPG, PNG and WebP images up to 10 MB and 25 megapixels (for example 6000 × 4000 px). Animated GIF / WebP and HEIC aren't supported yet.

What happens to my images?

To remove the background, your image is uploaded over an encrypted connection and processed in the cloud. The uploaded image and the result expire 24 hours after upload. Expired files are permanently deleted during daily cleanup, normally within the following 24 hours.

Is it really free? Do I need an account?

Yes. Removing a background, refining it and downloading the PNG is free and needs no account or email.
